Knowledge and Experience

Programming Languages

During the last 30 years I have been programming with a lot of languages - starting from Fortran 4 and Basic over TenCore, Smalltalk, Pascal, C and C++ (since version 1.0) up to my current favorites Java on server side and Swift for IOS and macOS. Of course this is supplemented by HTML and JavaScript for the web.

Frameworks

Concerning libraries and frameworks I worked with jQuery, Bootstrap and CKEditor, Lucene, .NET, .NET Core, MS SharePoint API, but also something like Xontro for stock exchanges.

I created an own framework named 'Bandika' for web servers for Tomcat in Java and (without Tomcat) for Linux and macOS in Swift.

Databases

As database I use SQL based systems.
Starting mainly with MS SQL, later Oracle and today I prefer PostgreSQL.

Where no SQL systems are available, I use object based file persistence with JSON.

Server

Among server operating systems I am used to Linux (esp. the Debian/Ubuntu branch), Windows server and MacOS (BSD).

As web and application server I used Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, MS IIS, MS SharePoint (since 2006) and Kestrel.

In Swift I have written an own web server, which can run on macOS and Linux (published on GitHub).
